Despite the challenges the pandemic continued to pose in 2021, we closed another year with strong results and taking important steps towards our journey of offering what is best in the world of medicine. We remain prepared to go further in the pursuit to consolidate our leadership in the industry as well as the social and environmental sustainability of our business.

Sustainable Management
The Sustainability, Environmental and Climate Change Policies lay down the alignment with a sustainable management model for the Company’s business that take environmental protection into account.

Rede D’ Or São Luiz participates in several important forums, such as the Global Compact, Green and Healthy hospitals, in the pursuit of initiatives to save the environment in different ways.
GHG
Emissions
Our 2021 emissions inventories have been audited by an outsourced firm and published in the Public Emission Record of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program.
Water
efficiency
We have reduced water consumption by 28% due to the water efficiency project as well as other initiatives to prevent the waste of this resource.
Leadership
Development
The Program is geared towards preparing leaders aligned with the Company’s culture, business model and organizational skills.

In 2021, almost 2.4 million patients/day received care in the entire Rede D’Or São Luiz network - only considering admitted patients.

Our climate and engagement survey was answered by more than 90% of the staff, totaling more than 43,000 employees and approval rate of 79.36%.

Rights
We have been investing heavily in initiatives that foster Diversity and Inclusion, fighting hard any type of discrimination. In 2021, 100% of employees from hired security service providers received training on Human Rights.
Innovation
for all
Focused on inclusion and concerned about those patients who have restrictions to the use of digital tools, the Patient Schedule was fully reviewed to be used as a complement to the Patient App.

Innovation project that offered employees more interaction, services and easiness in their HR demands.
